An early morning drive. The grass is wet with dew. Fog still on the road, headlights shining through.
This is the feeling I had in mind when making this playlist. I needed some new music for my hour-long drive home from school and wanted to create a relaxing mix that would help the drive go faster. I’d describe this mix as mellow pop-rock. It varies from Euro-pop new wave like New Order and Electronic, to Washington State rock with Heatmiser and Modest Mouse. Tracks like “All I Want” by LCD Soundsystem and “Getting Away With It” by Electronic calm my mind perfectly to enjoy a few hours alone in the car.
