Once again, there was a great array of outfits, but there were a couple that stood out amongst the others. Through this blog, which I will try to do bi-weekly, I want to showcase my style and show that you don’t need a lot of money or really busy clothing pieces to look good! Also, pro-tip number one, if you have accessories, wear them; you have no idea how much personality they add to an outfit and can really be the staple in any ensemble. That’s enough of my rambling, let’s go through my looks this past week!
This look is truly some of my best work so far. I truly just wanted to give I was in a romcom in ’06; I think I achieved that. The jeans are thrifted, and the tank is from Walmart, so a total of maybe $6 right there. The striped long sleeve shirt is from ASOS and was bought years ago.
This is a classic “Mari look”, like a boy who listens to rock in the 00’s (a running theme). The shirt is thrifted, but the brand is American Outfitters from who knows what year, and the jorts are from Pull & Bear, which I love for jeans and shorts. The shoes are just chunky Nikes that I’ve worn far too many times, but those are my babies! I will let it be known that I wear one pair of jorts every week…and I don’t care!
Another simple look, but relating back to my intro, the accessories help everything come together! Once again, we have the jeans from the purple look; they truly are my favorite low-rise jeans. The shirt is a cute graphic tee from ASOS, specifically from the Reclaimed Vintage brand. While they are not being shown, I’m wearing my lovely black Converse that make me feel like Demi Lovato in “Camp Rock”.
These have been my favorite looks from the past week, and I will continue to let y’all in on my tips and tricks for making cool, simple looks!
