K-Pop Party is a playlist with all your favorite songs you know, along with all the deep cuts you should know. Makes for a boppin' and vibey time! Though some biases do apply, this list does a good job of balancing out between different groups and different eras in K-Pop; there's truly something there for any K-Pop stan! Put it on shuffle for a healthy mix, or listen to it in order for a walkthrough of time. Non-K-Pop fans are also welcome... this is as good a place as any to start!

This summer WUSC does not have a K-pop show, so I’m giving you guys the K-pop hook up right here on the blog! Despite complications from coronavirus, the K-pop industry is still working hard and kind of thriving this summer. We got some epic solos from Chung Ha, Sunmi, AleXa and more of course (like Solar’s awesome comeback). A few releases have very fun point dances, like Stray Kids’ "God's Menu." Hopefully whether you’re looking for a new girl group bop or a boy group jam, you’ll enjoy this list! If you want more K-pop this summer from WUSC, feel free to check out my 2019 summer list, linked below!
As I walk in White Mule for WUSC’s Girls Block Warmup Concert, melodic vocals and accompanying guitar fill the bar. The White Mule, a small live music venue in Five Points, is so packed there are people standing around the seating area. Finding a spot off to the side, I settle in to listen to Cassidy Spencer, a local beginner singer songwriter. The stark red lighting clashes with Spencer’s almost hipster style, neutral colored outfit and acoustic guitar. When asked to describe her sound, she quotes Free Times, calling her genre “Delicate singer songwriter introspection.”
