Here are a few personal opinions on every concert I have ever attended, in chronological order.
Twenty One Pilots at Bon Secours Wellness Arena
I was embarrassingly emo in 2019 when they released Trench. I did wear yellow tape. I do consider this ‘bad’ music now. Good performance and visuals, nonetheless.
COIN at Cockstock
Who? We left early.
Kevin Gates / NLE Choppa / Rob 49 at Colonial Life Arena
One of the most amazing experiences of my life. Kevin Gates is a mythical figure to me. NLE Choppa has incredible stage presence. Rob 49 was great but this was before “WTHELLY”.
Hootie and The Blowfish at Colonial Life Arena
I have never felt more of a connection to my roots. Darius Rucker told funny stories about his time on campus and their origins as an R.E.M cover band. Played a phenomenal cover of “Losing My Religion”. I think Mark Bryan wasn’t wearing shoes. Go Gamecocks.
Charli XCX / Troye Sivan at State Farm Arena
So sweaty. I danced nonstop with my best friends. We missed Shygirl opening because of Atlanta traffic, but Charli brought her back out for their “365” remix. Slayed house down boots.
Mariah The Scientist / Quavo at Cockstock
Cockstock. Colonial Life Arena. Mariah’s vocals were incredible and she really interacted with the crowd. Migos' songs were pure nostalgia and fun. RIP Takeoff.
