Before listening to Taylor Swift's albums folklore and evermore, I had dismissed Taylor Swift’s work as something that did not suit my aesthetic tastes. I did appreciate her early work as a kid in the country music scene, but I had felt that she had sold out.

On top of reviewing a number of new tracks and albums, I want to toss the old retro track into the mix. Most of these will be deep cuts from classic artists, and I felt that this track was an absolutely legendary addition to a review list.
Frank Turner is back at it again with the release of his new single “The Gathering.” This British folk-punk artist has been slowly leaking tracks acoustically through his “Independent Venue Love" livestreams on YouTube, but this is the first release of an ‘official’ track since his collaboration with Jon Snodgrass last year.

One of the absolute best feelings in the world is when you find that bright red ruby in that sea of otherwise generic songs. The minute the guitar strums a certain note, or the harmonies come together to form some sort of chord birthed from the god Apollo, that certain feeling arrives and for a few minutes I find myself submerged in a glittering pool of musical euphoria. As a DJ, these times aren’t necessarily rare, but the magnitude changes each time. One of the artists that provides me with a massive 1,000 magnitude earthquake of sound euphoria each time I hear a song is an indie rock band called Her’s.
So It Goes is Demoniac’s sophomore record, but it is the first album I have heard from the Chilean thrash metal group… and let me just say: I am in a state of solipsism brought on by the overwhelming intensity of this record. I cannot tell you much about the band besides that they are from Chile, there are five members, and the frontman’s name is Javier Ortiz. But that is fine because their music speaks for itself. In this review I will take you through all five tracks and provide my honest but ultimately unimportant opinion.

For this spring’s first official wellness day here at the University of South Carolina, I decided to sit down and reflect on a few songs that have been important to me and my personal wellness over the years. Take a quick read, maybe listen to a few of the songs, but most importantly, take care of yourself today.
